Beef Tacos

Makes 4 to 6 servings. Takes about 5 mins to prep and 10 mins to cook.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

  • 1 to 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 pack tortillas (flour or corn)

  • ¼ cup beef broth

  • Dash of salt and black pepper

Directions:

  • Cook ground beef on medium to medium high heat until brown, and then drain the grease.

  • Stir in the taco seasonings and beef broth, or water, to the ground beef and then bring it up to a simmer. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more salt and pepper as needed per taste.

  • Spoon meat onto warm tortillas and serve.

Garnish the tacos with your favorite toppings, such as fresh chopped cilantro, red onions, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and jalapeno peppers. Enjoy!

  • 1 red bell pepper (de-seeded)

  • 1 onion (white or yellow)

  • 2 to 4 garlic cloves (minced)

  • ½ tablespoon vegetable oil

Before cooking ground beef-

  • Warm oil in medium hot pan and cook the peppers and onions for 5 to 8 mins until cooked.

  • Add minced garlic and cook for 2 mins until fragrant.

  • Remove from heat and place in a separate bowl.

  • Add this mix in once you’ve cooked the ground beef.
